When you call

Lines are open Monday through Sunday. Ask whether the estimate differs at this hour, and how long it's likely to take tonight.

Waiting safely

  • Wait in a lit spot, a nearby business or a friend's place
  • Keep your phone charged and nearby
  • Share your location with someone you trust
  • Don't let anyone else 'help' you open the door

When the locksmith arrives

Expect them to confirm the price, open the door, and check your ID or proof of address once inside. They should give you an invoice with the business name.

Cost

The sheet starts lockouts at $19.00 plus the $29.00 service call fee. Late calls may be priced differently; ask first. See the price list.

Talk to dispatch

Give the street address and the nearest corner, and say whether there's a concierge, an English-basement entrance or an alley door.
